Manomano Module for Prestashop

Configuration of WebService

To connect, please enter your API access data according to the platform. As soon as the connection was successful, you can configure your shop. If you are using a test version of ManoMano, please click "yes". With the button "Register" and the button "Test" you can check if you could connect to the ManoMano servers.

General configuration

Marketplace’s reference: ManoMano will use this field as a key to recognize products in the catalog and on orders. Please leave the Prestashop Product_ID to avoid changes in SKU codes.

 

Marketplace’s reference separator: the separator to be used on the product reference.

Use specific prices: The discount price corresponds to the specific price you have indicated on your PrestaShop product page. On the PrestaShop product page you can activate or deactivate the specific price. The price will then automatically be transferred to ManoMano. The normal price is also indicated directly in the product master record.

 

Activate special prices: Here you can activate special prices for certain products over a certain period of time, which is determined in cooperation with ManoMano. To do this you have to go to the general product settings. On the product sheet the button "Show promo banner in product sheet..." appears. When this button is activated, the product will be offered at a special price.

 

Description: Here you can decide whether additional information from the description should be added to your ManoMano product sheets. You can choose between a long or short description. If you select both descriptions, they will be displayed one after the other. The short description is shown first, as it is considered to be a summary.

 

Add features to the description: Here you can decide whether you want to add further features to your product description. If you return to the product page in your PrestaShop boutique, you can add features to the product description. The features are displayed before the description.

 

Remove HTML code from description: Here you can set whether you want to remove HTML codes from your product description.

 

Remove videos from the description: Videos that promote the product can remain part of your description. If displaying brand and company names, videos should be removed from the description. If this function is activated, all HTML specifications are deleted. The same applies to iFrame and video.

 

Remove images from the description: Images that promote the product can remain part of your description. If displaying brand and company names, images should be removed from the description. If the function is activated, all HTML specifications are deleted.

 

Standard stock for orders: Here you can select the different warehouses. The stocks are only transferred from the selected warehouse. If you use the extended stock, please specify the default warehouse for stock export. Please make sure that you do not select a different value.

 

Disable automatic order validation: Please enable this function in case you do not want to validate orders manually. If you activate the automatic order validation, orders will be automatically accepted by ManoMano and displayed under Orders. There, the ManoMano order number is displayed as well as the PrestaShop order number. The automation of orders has an impact on your customers and should be carefully considered.

 

CSV feed instead of XML: Please activate this function if you prefer the CSV format. Basically, the use of CSV files offers no advantage over XML files. However, CSV is used more often. For this reason ManoMano prioritises CSV files and selects them automatically.

 

Export the first PDF file of the products: Please activate this function if you have a PDF file of the products. There are several ways to add extra documents to the product sheet in PrestaShop. The module only retrieves the first one.

 

Show deactivated categories: If you want to show all deactivated categories. If a category is deactivated, click on the button "Category Mapping" and view the deactivated categories. All products in a category can be activated and exported. All categories that are deactivated can be hidden in the mapping. The activation of a category is necessary for the export.

 

Link products to standard category: This function allows you to simplify the export of categories. Under "Settings" you have the possibility to select this function. If you return to the product page, you will see that products can be assigned from several categories. Furthermore, there is a button "Default category". If the function has been activated, the category will also be used under Category Mapping.

 

Export deactivated products: Here you can specify the category you want to export. Deactivated products are not visible in the seller's shop, regardless of whether the category is activated or not. Although you do not want to offer products on your website, you can transfer them to ManoMano. There is no link between deactivated products and categories. All products are filtered by category and the products are filtered after activation.

 

Deactivate combinations: e.g. a product of size S, M and XL is active. This means that there are different variants. If the function is deactivated, there is no longer a connection between the products. When this parameter is set on "YES": products’ combinations are no longer exported into the products' feed for ManoMano.

Products

Flow generation ("number of products per product package"): Flow generation describes the number of products exported to MM per second. There is no time limit. If you select 100 products, the flow rate is 100 products per second. If you have a slow server, it is better to choose smaller product packages so that the server is not overloaded. With a fast server you can send large packages of products. 100 products works very well for most retailers. 

Orders

Here you can choose from which PrestaShop status the ManoMano order should be imported.

If you import an order, the order status changes to "Payment received". If you place a current order, it will be sent and the information will be transmitted to ManoMano. 

Orders are transferred to ManoMano as soon as the order has been paid and the status has changed accordingly. At the same time the status in your toolbox changes to "in preparation". As soon as this status has been selected, you can start creating the shipment. This function can also be selected under Settings. If the status changes, the status in your Toolbox also changes. 

If you do not want to activate automatic synchronization, you can also select this function here. Depending on your CRON setup, tracking information is transmitted in the last step.

Correspondence will be available for all ManoMano platforms (FR, UK, DE, ES, IT, B2B) except MF. On MF the order will only be transmitted if it has been validated by ManoMano as "in process".

As soon as the status of the order changes in your PrestaShop (you add the name of the carrier and the tracking number), the module is able to send this information to ManoMano. This is done either selectively through the "Order Flow" or through your CRON task.

The task based CRON method is highly recommended if the order volume is large and/or there is more than one carrier to manage.

Carriers

Here you can choose if you want to use price lists for ManoMano.

 

On the tab "Carriers" you can add specific functions by platform.

 

If you enable the feature for a platform, if you want to use carrier grids. This function will automatically be added to your ManoMano feed.

 

If you use more than one carrier per product, the use of carrier grids is mandatory. Without the Carrier Grid, the module transmits the specific shipping cost for each individual product.

 

If you want to use a carrier grid, you have to inform ManoMano about all necessary information to create such a grid, so that the tariff grid can be successfully deposited and activated. If you do not want to use a carrier grid, please deactivate the function. In any case you have to indicate for each country the carriers and shipping times you use.

 

It is possible to charge additional shipping costs for a product if a second product is added to the shopping cart.

 

You can change this setting on the product sheet in PrestaShop. This information is then automatically shared with ManoMano. 

 

Shipping costs can also be charged per category by a generic value.

 

MF offers only one carrier called "ManoMano MMF". This carrier can be selected during the import of the order. MF orders can then be more easily identified among the other ManoMano orders.

 

Shipping times must include preparation time.

Filters

In this tab you can set filters by brand and supplier for the products to be transferred in the catalogue.

 

Please indicate which brands or suppliers you do not want to export. By default, all suppliers and brands are accepted.

 

This rule only works if a) the category is activated, if b) the declinations are activated and c) if the product itself is active.

 

Example: If a product is associated with the ABC brand and supplier 123 and the ABC brand is filtered not to be integrated and on the other hand supplier 123 is not removed from the selection, the brand "wins" and the products are filtered and removed from the ManoMano flow.

 

A filter setting can be stored for each item on the product sheet in PrestaShop (do not export this product).

 

The filtered products are also displayed in your error log on the "Product Feed" page.
